If you downloaded the software and you are connected to Internet, type pctt.net on top of the Phonebar. As pctt.net is the PC-Telephone default gateway, you can type only # and press the Dial button. If you hear complete voice message, your PC-Telephone works properly and you can make calls over Internet. If you don't hear the message, click here to the settings website.

Call for free now:

Enter the IP address or name of your contact party's PC in the Phonebar and press the Dial button. Your IP address is your Internet phone number. Find your current IP address in the IP address combo box (Network-IP options) after establishing the Internet connection. Make your website voice enabled.

Important about IP Address:

Most Internet connections are assigned dynamic Internet Protocol (IP) addresses: Each time your connection is made, a different, temporary IP address is assigned. This means that the 'sound packets' could not reach you back to the IP address you gave to your calling party and you don't always hear him (each other).
With static IP addresses, your connection gets the same value every time you connect to the Internet. Static IP addresses permit a machine to offer Internet services like web, ftp email and PC-Telephone, of course. Because a specific, known address is associated with your connection, other machines on the Internet know where to send traffic destined for your server.

If you don't have static IP, contact your Internet Service Provider to assign you your static IP and enter it in Menu>Network>IP (internet)>IP Address. You can also use free redirect IP address service at www.noip.com.

TIP:

 You can call for free only the party with PC-Telephone software installed. You can send .exe file by e-mail attachment or better - recommend this webpage.

TIP:

 You can name your phone or IP numbers: Click the Phonebook Map>Menu-Edit>Add item. If you double-click the name or the number, it will move into the Phonebar. One more click (dial) and the call starts.

TIP:

 If  you drag the Phonebar out of the complete PC-Telephone window, only the latter will pop-up on your monitor screen when you receive the call or raise the USB phone receiver. It will move back by double-click on it's edge.
